For your consideration is this Vasalia Stock Saddle Company Humane series low port half breed bit. This bit is primarily constructed from German silver and shows a slight patina to the shanks. The Visalia Stock Saddle Company saw its beginning in the year of 1870 with David E. Walker better known as D. E. Walker. The Visalia Style Stock Saddle was the invention of Juan Maratrel who created the very first Visalia Stock Saddle Tree, and D. E. Walker having been a saddle maker bought Juan Maratrel's shop in 1870. The condition of this bit is good showing a heavy patina adorning the shanks of the bit and slight white patina adorning the bit itself. The measurements of this bit are 7" x 6" x 3" and the straight shank measures 4 1/2".
