This is an excellent handwoven, flat weave rug by master weaver Enrique Ruiz. This rug was made using Mohair and wool blend in a beautiful Vengul Diamond Eye Dazzler pattern. The rug was handwoven with a tight weave using Mohair and Wool blend that offers natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, handwoven weave, displayed with bright rich tones, is in the fine Vengul Diamond Eye Dazzler pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Enrique Ruiz. The rug shows a wonderful contemporary rendition of a Vengul Diamond Eye Dazzler with a large field of earth brown decorated with woven decorations of stars of white, maroon, and light brown and black. In the center is a large medallion comprised of geometric shapes of stepped diamonds with the four corners showing off-white braided tassels. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a tight weave. The rug measures 2’ 6” by 5’ (2 foot 6 inch by 5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
