This is an antique Victorian cast iron hunt scene European elk mount that dates to the 19th Century. The mount has a solid oak hardwood plaque and features a RARE cast iron adornment that shows a wonderful hunt scene that includes an elk, duck and fancy scrollwork. The skull is covered in a brilliant red felt cloth and the antlers have a gold rope trim. The antlers round out this piece very well and lend themselves nicely to the overall visual appeal.
