For your consideration in this lot is a collection of Victorian sterling silver wax seal stamps and wax knife. There are Six wax stamps with ornate Victorian stems. The largest of these stamps is 3 1/2" long and the other three are 3". These four stamps are blank with no engraving on the stamp head. The next two stamps are smaller, only 2 1/4" long, but with the same ornate Victorian style stem. All these stamps are marked sterling on the handles. The next item is a wax knife. This knife has a Victorian handle that is stamped sterling and measures 5". Next is a stamp with the letter "O". This stamp is on a black wood handle and measures 2 1/4". The next stamp has a blank head and a stamped ebony wood stem with a silver emblem attached on one side. This stamp measures 3 3/4" long. The next stamp has a blank head and the stem is part sterling and part Mother of pearl. The sterling part is in the same Victorian fashion as the other stamps. The upper leaf shaped mother of pearl part of the stamp is a gorgeous iridescent milky white with flashes of green and pink. This stamp measures 3 1/2". The last stamp is a screw on stamp head with an Old English font capital "G". The sterling silver on these items shows great patina. The total weight of this lot is 98.5 grams.
