Kasimir (1914- 2002) is a well known is a Austrian born artist known for his detailed cityscapes and landscape etching as well as his skill in multi-plate colored etchings. The etching shows a busy street with a flower vender in the foreground and the Vienna opera house dominating the background. The etching shows wonderful detail and color. The piece is signed by Robert Kasimir at the bottom of the etching. The piece is set into a gold painted frame with a info tag on the back from Jakab's Art Gallery located in Billings, Montana. This colored etching shows good condition overall. The frame measures 10 1/4" wide by 11 5/8" tall with the etching measuring 4 5/8" wide by 5 1/4" tall.
