The rug features a wonderfully and professionally pile woven wool construction that shows vegetable dyes that are natural and shows a triple-band borders with geometric and traditional symbol motifs, and shows a field that includes geometric patterns with multiple motifs that include ram's horn (kocboynuzu), grain (tahil), hook (cengel), comb (tarak), bird (KUS), chest (SANDIKLI), and eye (goz) motifs. A feature of the Kazakh and Uzbek rugs is the use of excellent reds, blues, yellows, and greens. This rug has rich colours of red, pink, gold, tan, cream, green, black, blue and light blue. While the origins of Kazakh rugs trace back to the Caucasus region, their production has expanded to other areas, including Afghanistan. Afghan Uzbek Kazakh rugs have garnered attention for their adherence to traditional weaving methods and design principles while infusing their own regional flair. The wool used, although coarse, is highly lustrous and durable. Blue-grey colour fringe finish both ends.
