The lot features a vintage late-20th century sterling silver graduated necklace showing a beautiful Navajo Desert Pearl beads from a Navajo Native American Indian silversmith. The necklace is strung on a sterling silver chain link strand with sterling clasp having s STERLING marked sterling silver cones. All the beads are handmade / benchmade / bench made. The strand, starting from the clasp shows thirty (30) sterling silver beads that are each approx. 8mm. Next shows twenty two (22) sterling silver beads with a flaring lip that are each approx. 11mm and then there are eighteen (18) larger sterling silver beads that are each approx. 12mm. Lastly, on the end of the strand are sixteen (16) sterling silver beads that are each approx. 15mm and the largest single sterling silver bead that is approx. 17mm. The strand is a nice late-vintage age with nice heavy sterling silver construction that is finely done by a wonderful Navajo artist and is in good condition. The strand measures overall 31 inches in length from clasp to clasp ends. Total weight of 97.5 grams.
