This is a fabulous Vintage Pawn Navajo Ketoh in sterling silver on leather set with a large Kingman Turquoise stone, 20th-century. The piece shows raised repousse, carvings and old stampings, a classic Old Pawn pattern of manufacture done in sterling silver by a vintage Navajo silversmith showing the large rectangular piece at the center flanked by two scallops on either side on a thick leather cuff. The center piece shows a large polished cabochon of turquoise from the Kingman Turquoise Mine bezel set with a thick rope silver border. A Navajo Ketoh, or bow guard, is a protective leather wrapping worn on the forearm by archers, often adorned with silver and turquoise. The condition of this leather and sterling silver cuff is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this cuff is 3" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/4".*
