You are bidding on a vintage Rich Abr. Herder no. 73 straight razor. This razor is manufactured in Solingen Germany. Solingen is called the "City of Blades", since it has long been renowned for the manufacturing of fine swords, knives, scissors and razors made by famous firms. This razor's handle has a horn design on the ends. The front of the blade is marked "73 RICH. ABR. HERDER SOLINGEN" and the back "R.A. HERDER SOLINGEN". It measures 9" when fully open and 6" closed. The blade is in very good condition.
