The lot features an original Pueblo heishi necklace with nice early vintage age from artists Paul & Mazie Taraino showing sterling silver and tortoise shell like Stromatolite agate, otherwise known as Turtle Shell Agate. The necklace features many small heishi turtle shell agate beads, hand rolled and strung onto thin twine. It shows colors of light brown, dark brown and black. Near the clasps of the necklace is a strand of nineteen sterling beads strung together on a metal rope. The ends of the strands are capped with sterling cones. The two strand earrings show the same hawk beak tortoise shells and are capped with sterling cones. The necklace and earrings show good condition overall with little wear and no damage present. Legal to own and sell. The necklace measures 24" L from clasp to clasp while the earrings measure 2 5/8" L x 3/4" W. They have a collective weight of 12.4 grams.* NOT TORTOISE SHELL.
