Featured in this lot are two Winold Reiss Great Northern Railroad calendar toppers titled, "First Stabber" and "Bull Head" circa 1936 and 1938. The first in this lot, "First Stabber" shows a young Blackfeet boy wearing a buckskin shirt and pants as he holds a feathered tomahawk. The background shows a canyon with a river running through it and blue colored mountains in the background. The bottom of the print reads, "Winold Reiss, New York / First Stabber - Blackfeet Indian Boy / ©Great Northern RY" in blue lettering. The bottom right shows the artist signature reading, "Winold Reiss". The second print, "Bull Head" shows an older Blackfeet man, Bull Head, sitting crisscross in front of a large pipe. He is wearing a beautiful and largely decorated headdress and buckskin shirt and pants exhibiting bursts of colors throughout. The bottom of the art reads, "Original Portrait by Winold Reiss, New York / Bull Head - Blackfeet Medicine Man - Glacier National Park / © Great Northern RY. St. Paul, U.S.A." in blue lettering. Both pieces are set in wood frames with one showing gold coloring. The "First Stabber" visible art measures 22 3/4" L x 12 3/4" W, while the entire piece measures 24 1/4" L x 14 3/8" W x 7/8" D. The "Bull Head" visible art measures 23 1/8" L x 13" W, while the entire piece measures 24 11/16" L x 14 9/16" W x 7/8" D. They have a collective weight of 6 pounds and 14 ounces.
