Included in this lot is a Belgian W. Richards side by side 12 gauge shot gun. This side by side shotgun utilizes two 30” Damascus steel barrels chambered in 12 gauge. The underside of the barrels are stamped with the Le Perron and Leige proof marks as well as others indicating a Belgian origination. The breech of the shotgun is opened by a lever on the left side of the receiver instead of the traditional brake on the top of the tang. The left and right side of the receiver is stamped “W. Richards”. The fore grip and round pistol grip feature a wonderful hand checkering. The firearm has a hard rubber bull plate with engraved Roe deer. The shotgun is absent of both hammers. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
