Featured in this lot is this RARE, 1990 1990 limited edition hand painted Looney Tunes animation cel titled, "Next To The Last Chance Saloon" hand signed by the master animator, Chuck Jones (1912-2002) in 1990 and produced by Warner Bros. This original cel has been authenticated at Gallery Lainzberg by Linda Rich and Linda Jones at Enterprises, Inc., and comes with a certification and info sheet on original limited edition cel paintings. This is a limited edition piece numbered 720 out of 750 and signed by the artist reading, "Chuck Jones". This animation cel shows Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester J. Pussycat Sr., Elmer Fudd and Wile E. Coyote sitting around a round table playing poker, with a mound of gold coins on the table. Bugs bunny holds a mirror on the floor with his foot, looking at Wile E. Coyote's cards. All of the other characters look over the shoulder of the person to the viewers right (their left) to peak at their cards. The background window has text projected to the street and reads, "Next To The Last Chance Saloon". The bottom left shows a Sticker of Authenticity from Linda Jones at Enterprises, Inc., while the middle is marked with the limited edition number reading, "720 /750". The bottom right hand corner is signed by the artist reading, "Chuck Jones". The back of the frame holds the Certificate of Authenticity and an info write up on original limited edition animation cels. The piece is triple matted, set in a gold gilt colored frame and sits behind glass to preserve its condition. It shows good condition overall with little wear present and no signs of damage noted. The visible art measures 13 1/8" L x 15 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 25 1/2" L x 29 1/2" W x 2 7/8" D. It has a total weight of 10 pounds and 12 ounces.
