Featured in this lot is this RARE, 1991 limited edition hand painted Looney Tunes animation cel titled, "Dances With Wabbits" hand signed by the master animator, Chuck Jones (1912-2002) in 1991 and produced by Warner Bros. This original cel has been authenticated at Gallery Lainzberg by Linda Rich and Linda Jones at Enterprises, Inc., and comes with a certification and info sheet on original limited edition cel paintings. This is a limited edition piece numbered 65 out of 500 and signed by the artist reading, "Chuck Jones". This animation cel shows a scene from the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies series and shows Bugs Bunny & Elmer Fudd doing a Native American style dance around a fire during the night. It shows a background painting and the front, painted animation cel of Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny. The bottom left is marked reading, "©1991 Warner Bros. Inc." and "65 / 500". Below the two characters it shows the title reading, "Dances With Wabbits". The bottom right hand corner is signed by the artist reading, "Chuck Jones" and shows a Sticker of Authenticity from Linda Jones, Enterprises, Inc.. It is set in a nice, black frame, sits behind glass and is triple matted to preserve its condition. The visible artwork measures 12 1/2" L x 16 1/8" W, while the entire piece measures 21" L x 24 5/8" W x 1 1/2" D. It has a total weight of 6 pounds and 4 ounces.
