For your consideration is this original, large format photo of Weldon Clayton Humphrey, owner of the Morning Star Mine, and his Studebaker wagon in 1901. Weldon Clayton Humphrey owned the mine in the early 1900s and was handed down to his son, Weldon Humphrey Jr., in the mid to late 1930s. This photo shows Weldon posing next to his recently bought Studebaker wagon, as he has a prideful look on his face. He is in ranching clothes and wears a cowboy hat and a revolver on his hip. A box locker can be seen on the front of the wagon and wood support beams can be seen over the wagon used for holding a cover over the wagon. No makers mark or photography mark is present on the photo. The visible photo measures 12" L x 7 3/8" W, while the entire piece measures 13 1/8" L x 8 1/4" W. It weighs under 6 ounces.
