The lot features a fantastic early circa 1850 catlinite pipestone elbow pipe bowl from the Western Great Lakes Native American Indians. The piece shows a nice size with solid hand carved and hand drilled catlinite pipestone with wonderful raised ridges along the bowl, stem connection and elbow.
