For your consideration is an illustrated 1879 edition of “Western Wilds and the Men Who Redeem Them”, written by J.H. Beadle, 1877. This is a late 19th-century account of early American figures and their accomplishments, explorations, and events. This book follows the lives of men at the Alamo, the westward voyages of the Mormons, Native American Indians, geographical phenomena in the West, and much more. The book is illustrated throughout and features a wonderful gilt decorated cover. The full color map of Aboriginal America in the front is present. The book is in good condition. It measures 7" x 9 1/2" x 2".
