This is an excellent hand woven flat weave rug by master weaver, Ricardo Garcia. The rug was made using 100% soft, fine, hand spun wool yarns in a beautiful Wide Ruins Saltillo Flo pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% hand spun wool yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, hand woven weave, displayed with natural fleece tones, is in the fine Wide Ruins Saltillo Flo pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Ricardo Garcia. This rug shows iconic Zapotec design with thick, symmetrical Wide Ruins design with accented stepped medallions set between bands of decorated stripes, along with waves of geometric designs including coloration of light blues to dark blues and turquoise to teal coloration. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a fine, tight weave. The rug measures 2’ by 3’ (2 foot by 3 foot). This is a brand new rug.
