This is an excellent hand woven flat weave rug by master weaver Ricardo Garcia. The rug was made using 100% soft, fine, hand spun yarns in a beautiful Wide Ruins Saltillo Flo pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% hand spun wool yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight hand woven weave displays bright rich tones in the fine Wide Ruins Saltillo pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Ricardo Garcia. The rug shows a wonderful contemporary work of art with extremely rich bright coloration to the multi banded and medallion design and decoration with colors of bright yellow, red sky blue, light green, and dark brown. The rug shows a unique banded design of three large strips with medallion design centered in the strips, a unique design to the borders of the strips, and white braided tassels on all four corners of the rug. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a tight weave. The rug measures 2’ 5” by 5’ (2 foot 5 inch by 5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
