Included in this lot we have a copy of Wild Animals I have Known by Ernest Seton Thompson published in 1899. The book is a collection of stories about wild animals, often predators in a realistic writing style, rather than the biased writing of the time. Instead of writing predators in a monstrous and evil light as was common, Seton wrote them as noble and compassionate creatures. The book is in good condition overall and shows a number of illustrations. It measures 8 1/4" tall by 5 3/4" wide.
