For sale in this lot we have a first edition of 'Wild Life on the Plains and the Horrors of Indian Warfare' published in 1891. The book provides riveting testimonies and accounts from the Western Frontier in the mid to late 1800's. As settlers moved west, conflicts with the Native Americans became unavoidable, such as the Battle of the Little Bighorn. The book features a wonderfully decorated gilt cover and many illustrations inside as well. The book is in fair condition overall with some wear indicative of age.
