For your consideration is this Rare First Edition of, "Wild Life on the Plains & Horrors of Indian Warfare", by General George Armstrong Custer, W. L. Holloway copyright 1891, Imperial Publishing Co., St. Louis. The book is a memoir of Custer's experiences as a cavalry officer during the Indian Wars of the late 19th century. Custer recounts his time on the Great Plains, where he encountered Native American tribes such as the Cheyenne, Sioux, and Arapaho. He describes the landscape, wildlife, and the daily life of the soldiers stationed on the frontier. The book also details Custer's involvement in several battles against Native American tribes, including the Battle of Little Bighorn, where he famously lost his life.
