Included in this lot is a deluxe, Pre-64 Winchester Model 64 32 W.S. lever action rifle. The Model 64 was introduced in the January 1933 catalog specifically as a replacement to the Model 55. As it was originally cataloged, it was available in the same 25-35 W.C.F., 30 W.C.F., and 32 W.S. cartridges as the Model 55. This lever action rifle utilizes a 24” round blue’d barrel. It is marked on the left side and reads “Winchester Proof Steel – Model 64 – Winchester Trade Mark - 32 W.S.” The barrel has a dovetailed front sight and adjustable rear buckhorn sight. The receiver, trigger, and lever action show evidence of the original factory bluing. The fore grip and stock feature a deluxe factory checkering. This first year, 1933 rifle is in good overall condition, showing signs of wear, presumably from use. Serial Number: 1089271. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
