This is a Winchester Model 1876 lever action rifle chambered in the .45-75 caliber manufactured in 1886. The rifle features a solid walnut hardwood stock with crescent butt stock. It has a full octagon barrel that is marked "Winchester's Repeating Arms New Haven, CT. / King's-Improvement Patented March 29, 1866 October 16, 1850" and "Cal 45-75". The butt stock features a cleaning kit compartment built in. The stock and fore grip have been replaced and show a checkered pattern and dark finish. The Winchester Model 1876 rifle is in good overall condition. Serial Number: 50166. This firearm qualifies as an Antique and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
