The rifle is from manufacture year 1905, and utilizes 24" full octagon barrel, blue finish, walnut fixtures, height adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, paired with a brass bead front sight, and a crescent steel butt-plate. The Model 92 was manufactured in a time after the closing of the ruthless American Frontier as we once knew it, but nontheless became an icon in the hands of John Wayne, Chuck Connors, and Steve McQueen in countless Hollywood Westerns. Overall, the rifle shows good condition, with a solid action, and a warm patina indicative of use, and age. The bore shows strong rifling, with minimal darkness and pitting.
