The rifle shows correct roll-stamping, reading; "38-72 WCF" on the top of the barrel, behind the rear sight, "Winchester Model 1895" on the upper-tang, and "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. - NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. PAT'D...." on the right side of the receiver. Overall, the classic rifle shows good aesthetic, and mechanical condition, boasting a naturally aged patina, and good action.
