Offered in this lot is the Winchester Model 37 Red Letter Series Knife Limited Edition Set #1104/2000, circa 1987-1988. Produced by Blue Grass Cutlery under an official Winchester license, this set pays homage to the legendary, vintage Winchester Model 37 single-shot shotgun. Specifically, it honors the early "Red Letter" shotgun variants built between 1936 and 1948, which featured the Winchester brand name stamped and filled with vibrant red enamel on the bottom of the receiver. The set includes exactly five pocket knives, each individually dedicated to one of the original shotgun chamberings: 12, 16, 20, 28, and .410 gauge. The multi-blade/pen knives feature mirror-polished stainless steel blades. Each blade is custom-etched with an image of the Model 37 shotgun, its corresponding gauge, and a distinctive red "MOD. 37" stamp. The handles are crafted using stag horn. One nickel silver bolster on each knife is factory-etched with a matching serial number unique to that 5-knife set, 1104/2000. Each knife measures approximately 2.75 inches when closed, with a 2-inch drop-point blade, yielding a 4.75-inch overall length. Knives and original packaging are in very nice condition. Box measures 5.75"W x 8.75"L x .75"D, collective weight is 6oz.
