This is a Winchester Model 62A .22 LR takedown pump action rifle. The rifle features a blue'd steel finish, straight grain walnut stock and slide handle, exposed hammer, 23" tapered round barrel, and tube magazine. The Winchester model 62 and 62A was a rifle that many people grew up with, leading it to be a very popular rifle. Winchester Model 62 and later the 62A, can last a lifetime. They were the .22 galley gun used in carnival shooting galleries for years and were often fired hundreds of times a day, thousands of times a week, year after year. The Winchester model 62A is a very accurate and about as reliable as .22 rifles can get. The rifle shows good condition, with loss of bluing along the barrel and receiver. The wood is in good condition with great color, but does show handling marks and wear. The rifle was manufactured in 1956. Serial Number: 384760. Curio & Relics rifle.
