The Winchester 770 was produced as a economy version of the model 70, it lacked a hinged floorplate or fore-end tip to keep cost down. In terms of numbers this is a rare Winchester for they were only produced from 1969 to 1971. The rifle is in good condition, with little wear to the bluing and stock. It functions like new.
