Featured in this lot is this Hopewell Tradition Pipestone pipe bowl from the Woodland era, around 200 B.C.E. The pipe bowl features a downward flare to the stand and a cylindrical pipe bowl centered in the middle of the piece. The pipe bowl and stem is constructed from a cream Pipestone material and is expertly crafted. The condition of this Pipestone pipe bowl is fair for its age, with a repair to the balancing stand of the bowl. The measurements of this pipe bowl are 2 1/4" x 1 1/8" x 4 5/8".
