For your consideration is this WWII Type A9 No 42 G 686 Air Force U.S. Army flight cap & 10th Mountain Division sun goggles. There are two items in this collection, the first being an un-issued U.S. Air Force Army flight cap with identification tag on the inside of the cap and sheep wool on the chin strap. Most 10th Mountain Division soldiers were actually recruited by the U.S. National Ski Patrol. Goggles and snow equipment like this was monumental in the successful missions against the Germans in the Italian mountains. The overall condition of these two military memorabilia is good for their age, with no obvious signs of damage.
