For your consideration is this Penobscot, polychrome Indian Chief head pipe, circa early 1900's. This pipe is lovely with great texture, polychrome coloration, trade bead eyes, and a birch wood pipe stem. The Penobscot are indigenous peoples in North America from the Northeastern Woodlands region. They are organized as a federally recognized tribe in Maine and as a First Nations band government in the Atlantic provinces and Quebec. The overall condition of this pipe is good and usable, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this Indian Chief head pipe are 7 1/4" x 3" x 20 1/4".
