Featured in this lot is this Yurok Native American Indian cap basket from California. The Yurok have traditionally inhabited the northwestern region of California. Today, many of the Yurok people still live on the Yurok reservation along the Klamath River. This basket displays a finely hand woven construction composed of natural organic fibers. The piece displays a fantastic geometric design throughout and is in good condition. The basket has a slight wear mark on the rim. The measurements of this basket are 3 1/2" x 6 7/8" x 6 7/8".
