Featured in this lot is this ledger art dough bowl by Hopi artist CJ Prophet, circa 1950's. The ledger art is originally from the 1800's; Hopi artist CJ Prophet recreated the ledger art on this traditional early dough bowl. The ledger art was added to the bowl at what seems to be around the mid-1900's. The condition of this bowl is good, with no obvious signs of damage and good preservation to the ledger art on the inside of the bowl. The measurements of this dough bowl are 4" x 23 1/2" x 11 1/4".
