Featured in this lot we have a Zastava Model 98/48 Yugo bolt action rifle chambered in 7.92 x 57mm. The Zastava M98/48 is a Yugoslavian conversion of the German Karabiner 98K and was refurbished in the 1950s. The rifle features a 23" long round barrel, wood stock and barrel cover, adjustable rear sight, trigger guard, and blue'd finish. The side of the frame is marked with "Preduzece 44 Mod. 98/48" with the top of the frame stamped with the Yugoslavia crest. The rifle shows good condition with light wear across the piece.
