For your consideration is this Vintage Zuni F.L. Natachu, Silver Mosaic Bolo Tie. This Bolo Tie shows excellent craftsmanship to the mosaic Rainbow God and shows inlaid turquoise, red branch coral, mother of pearl, and jet on the rectangle shaped silver, braided black leather cord with silver bolo tips and hogan bead ends. Zuni artists, Fred and Lolita Natachu, are known for their stunning mosaic and channel inlay. "Rainbow God" is of their favorite subjects. The Zuni tribe, now located in northwestern New Mexico, was the second Native American group to learn Mexican silversmithing techniques. Zuni artisans are renowned for their skill with inlay, a technique in which multiple stones are pieced together to form a single image. Zuni jewelry is a work of art and an expression of interconnectedness. Brightly colored stones speak to the wondrous beauty of the world around us. Rich patina throughout. This stunning bolo tie mosaic measures 2"L x 1.5"W, braided leather cord is 18.5"L, total weight 39.1g.*
