Featured in this lot is this saloon token, considered R-9 designation, from S. Tribolet and J.M. Brunswick and Balke Co. from Tombstone, Arizona Territory circa 1880 and was displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This is a scare rare Tombstone Territory saloon token from S. Tribolet and is good for one drink, the reverse side has a spool table advertising from the Brunswick-Balke and Co. and was recovered in Tombstone. The front and back of the token is marked as follows: The J.M. Brunswick and Balke Co. - Good For 1 S. Tribolet Tombstone, A.T. Drink. The coin comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: S. Tribolet, A.T. These tokens are graded by the George Fuld Rarity scale for token coins rarity estimated number in existence (R - 9 2 to 4). The condition of this saloon token is well preserved with some slight patina to the token consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this saloon token is 1" x 1". The collective weight of this token is 4.7g. T-1b
