The confrontation involved lawmen Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan Earp, along with Doc Holliday, facing off against members of the Cowboy faction, including Billy Clanton, Tom McLaury, and Frank McLaury. Though the actual gunfight lasted less than 30 seconds, it left three Cowboys dead and became a defining moment in the struggle between law and outlaw in the frontier mining town. The event cemented Tombstone’s place in Western legend and American history.
