Featured in this lot 1939 first edition "The Custer Tragedy" by Fred Dustin. The book features a recounting of the events leading up to and following The Little Big Horn Campaign of 1876 by Fred Dustin who is also the author of "The Custer Fight" and is a critic for similar literature. The book comes complete with correspondence regarding the purchase of this book and many similar for research and comes complete with a copy of The colors of the Seventh at The Little Big Horn: Custer's Battle Flags by Col. W.A. Graham and includes correspondence from the Colonel. The ephemera in the back also includes originally had drawn maps of the events surrounding the Battle of The Little Bighorn Campaign copied and re printed. The book and ephemera comes complete with a collector or museum tag that reads as follows: 1396-87 - O'dell. The condition of this book is well preserved with some wear to the outside spine of the book with fading to the cloth wrapped cover and to the gilt lettering with some browning to the pages consistent with age. The measurements of this book is 11" x 8 1/2". The collective weight of this book and accompanying documents is 2lb 4oz.
