For your consideration are ten C.M. Russell reproduction sketches and a large C.M. Russell book titled, "Charles M. Russell - Paintings of the Old American West" with introduction & commentaries by Louis Chapin (1978) circa 1970s. The reproduction sketches included in this lot are as follows - "The Last of His Race" (4), "The Shell Game" (3), "Painting The Town", "The Scout", "The Last of the Buffalo" and "The Indian of the Plain As He Was". There are four smaller reproduction sketches that show a red sketch color rather than the larger ones black sketch color. The book includes 50 large poster size prints, suitable for framing. To go along with the artwork, Louis Chapin has written commentaries to go along with each piece of art listed in the book. The book and reproduction sketches show good condition overall with slight wear present but no signs of obvious damage is noted. The book measures 15" L x 11 3/4" W x 3/8" D, the larger sketches measure 12 1/2" L x 15 1/4" W and the smaller sketches measure 8 12/16" L x 12" W. They have a collective weight of 2 pounds and 4 ounces.
