Featured in this lot is Lucia owned Tombstone, Arizona Territory prostitute or sodding stool circa 19th century and displayed in the tombstone Western heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The stool features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden, cast iron, and fabric construction that shows geometric patterns of decoration to the fabric and decoration to the cast iron folding frame of the stool. These stool would have been used for optimal position to wash the prostitute out after her services were used. This stool comes from tombstone and was donated to the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum and has a hand written tag that reads as follows: Sodding stool belonged to Lucia a Tombstone Prostitute - Sold thru the Silva Nugget Museum Auction. The condition of this prostitute stool or sodding stool is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage to the wood, the cast iron, or the fabrics used in the construction with a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this stool is 6 1/2" x 11 3/4" x 10 3/8". The collective weight of this prostitute stool is 3lb 12oz. TT223
