Featured in this lot is this "First Account of the Custer Massacre," Tribune Extra newspaper originally from July 6, 1876 and attributed to a copy from 1920-1940. The newspaper details the events originally printed about The Battle of Little Bighorn with an inclusion of the list of dead towards the end of the article. The condition of this Tribune Extra copy is well preserved with some wear and browning to the page consistent with the age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this framed newspaper 19 3/4" x 13 1/4" and the visible newspaper measures 18 3/4" x 12 1/8". The collective weight of this newspaper copy is 1lb 12oz.
