Featured in this lot is this collection of first edition Jack London books circa early 20th century. There are a total of four books in this collection. The first book is "The Night Born by Jack London, this is a 1913 first edition novel in fine condition. The second book is "Burning Daylight" by Jack London and is a first edition circa 1910. The third book is titled "Smoke Bellew" by Jack London and is a 1912 first edition. The last book is a 1905 first edition of "Tales of the Fish Patrol" by Jack London. Jack London (1876–1916) was a renowned American author, journalist, and adventurer best known for his novels The Call of the Wild and White Fang. A passionate advocate for socialism and a keen observer of human and animal nature, London drew heavily from his own rugged experiences, including his time as a Klondike gold prospector and as a sailor. His vivid storytelling and themes of survival, individualism, and the struggle against nature made him one of the most popular and influential writers of the early 20th century. The condition of this first edition books is well preserved with some wear to the outside cloth wrapped covers and browning to the pages consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. measurements of this collection of books is 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" with a variety of thickness. The collective weight of this collection of books is 4lb 8oz.
