Featured in this lot is this Imperial cabinet card of Albert S. Hock champion and record setting bicyclist circa 19th century; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The cabinet card features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that features a portrait photograph of Albert Hock posing with his High Wheel bicycle with his left arm and wearing competition garments. The cabinet card is marked with gilt lettering that reads as follows: Albert S. Hock - Champion - Long Distance Bicyclist of the World - Record: 1009 1/2 miles in six days, Twelve hours a day - Oswald Bros - Artists - 222 Plymouth Ave., Minneapolis, Minn. The cabinet card comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: World Champion Bicycle Rider. The condition of this Imperial cabinet card is preserved with some wear to the outside edge of the cabinet card and shows some fading to the photograph consistent with age and the gilt lettering at the bottom has lost its vibrancy but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The measurements of this cabinet card is 12" x 6". The collective weight of this cabinet card is U4oz. SKE94
