For your consideration is this pair of antique French field binoculars made by Verdi-Paris. The binoculars are believed to date to the late 19th- early 20th Century. They appear to be brass with black enamel and are covered in black leather. They feature flared barrels, center focus, and eye cups. The bridge is marked, "Verdi/ Paris". They are in good condition, having some of the enamel worn off, exposing the brass as well as expected wear to the leather. All of the glass is in excellent condition, having no cracks. The binoculars come with the original fitted case. The case also is black, covered in leather, and has a black strap. The case, which is fitted closely to the binoculars, measures 5.75" wide x 3.25" deep x 7.5" tall.
