Featured in this lot is this Apsáalooke Crow beaded hide child's mocassins. The mocassins feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted hide with soft soles and trade seed beads that include coloration of pumpkin orange, maroon, and sky blue. The Crow, whose autonym is Apsáalooke also spelled Absaroka, are Native Americans living primarily in southern Montana. Today, the Crow people have a federally recognized tribe, the Crow Tribe of Montana, with an Indian reservation, the Crow Indian Reservation, located in the south-central part of the state. The condition of this pair of child mocassins is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this pair of mocassins is 5 5/8" x 2 1/2".
