The lot features a beaded hide leather pipe bag, attributed to the Crow from the mid-to-late 20th Century. The bag shows four tabs at the top with beadwork at the front in a classic design, seen amongst the Northern Plains and Plateau tribes, specifically the Crow and Nez Perce. The beadwork is done in glass trade seed beads. The bottom has thin hide / leather fringes with brass and wood beads. There is beadwork on the back of the top tabs. The center shows a tie with 6-layer chevron glass trade bead with two brass beads and fringes with stamped out solid copper pennies. There is an original tag marked, "Crow Beaded Pipe Bag $1,450.00". Measures overall 36"L by 5"W.
