Featured in this lot we have a framed original watercolor by jack Hines titled "Battle Rush". William Jack Hines (1923-2015) was an American artist known for his depictions of the wild west with paintings of Native Americans and Cowboys. The painting depicts a Native American brave riding on horse back with an arrow knocked in his bow. The horse is shown in full gallop with red lines of war paint across the face and one leg. The brave shows braided hair with beaded moccasins and painted quiver. The painting displays wonderful art style and excellent attention to detail. The piece is signed in the bottom right hand corner reading "Jack Hines". The art is set into a custom wooden frame with a off white border around the painting. The back of the frame shows an art tag and a letter from Jack Hines to the original owner of the painting. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 21 1/2" wide by 25 1/2" tall with the art measuring 12 1/4" wide by 15 3/4" tall.
