Available in this lot we have a Belding's spool silk oak display cabinet originating from the late 19th century to early 20th century. The display cabinet shows solid oak paneling construction with a glass top. The case features two sliding racks for silk thread spools, each rack holding 51 spools. The case would have been used in craft and fabric stores as both a display case to show what spools are available and storage to sell from or refill the display. The case is marked in the front is black and glint gold lettering reading "Belding's Spool Silk". The back of the case shows two pull handles on each of the drawers. The display case shows good condition overall with some wear indicative of age. It measures 23 1/4" wide by 16 1/4" deep and 10" tall.
