Featured in this lot we have a Buck 110 Custom folding knife with custom display case. The buck knife was customized by Michael Prater from Painted Pony Designs located in Flintstone, Georgia. The knife features a handle made of silver and nickel silver and inlayed with designs of sugilite and abalone set into the handle. The handle shows detailed file and hammered designs across the piece and along the top of the blade. The knife blade shows a polished steel blade and is marked "Buck Custom U.S.A." on one side and "Painted 14 Pony by Michael Prater 4" with the Painted Pony logo. The piece comes with a custom display case made of hardwood with a red velvet interior with a cutout for the knife. The glass top of the case is marked "Painted Pony By Michael Prater" etched into the glass. The piece comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" card certifying the knife was customized by Michael Prater. The knife shows very good condition with some light wear on the case. The knife measures 8 1/2" long with a 3 3/4" long blade and with the case measuring 11" long by 5" wide and 1 1/2" tall when closed.
